Our Review of Daddy’s Gone A Hunting

This book just proved to me why Mary Clark is the queen of her genre. When I started the book, I would admit that things were not looking good as the book was setting out the wireframe for what eventually was going to happen in the book. So this setting period was making me a bit anxious as to whether this would turn out to be a good surprise or a bad surprise.

When the book starts, it just keeps taking you from one person to another. Imagine going to a party and meeting everybody for the first time and you can’t even register the names and is only later when everything settles that you come to know each of them properly and the role they are going to play. So yes initially I had a bit of confusion with so many characters barging in and me trying to make a grasp on all of these people and their purpose. So if you are like me, I will say give it a bit of time and you will be rewarded.

So as I waited till the fog could settle and when things started to fall into place, I was so shocked at the way the book just threw a big revelation. It just threw all your conclusions and analysis into the air and turned into a completely new direction. The book just plays with you and gives you a nice little shocker. Totally worth the wait and fun.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would like to say that the book just proves why Mark Higgins Clark’s books are a force. I loved the book even though it takes a bit of time in the beginning to settle down. Once it gets on track the book gives you a good thriller.
