I picked this book at a wrong time, having read just romance books for a stretch and that why it just felt as one more romance but apart from that the book was sweet adorable and perfect.

Our Review of The Soulmate Equation
I think I might have a bit of romance book overdose. So that might be the reason why I wasn’t jumping over the fence with excitement. But that is just a personal thing because otherwise, the book was good. Although when I say good, I am saying it was like a safe book. It had the basic formulas that worked nicely. It had all the usual Christina Lauren ingredients and flavour and follows the same pattern as the other books.
That is the only issue I had with the book that it was kind of vanilla. It had the same kind of vibe as The Unhoneymooners, In a Holidaze that I had recently read. I guess that is also a good factor that you get what you usually look for in a Christina Lauren book. Maybe I had a continuous stretch of similar contemporary romance, that I felt the yearning for something new and different but then that’s just me.
If you are new to Christina Lauren writing, then this book will give you the perfect glimpse into their romance books. Their books focus on not just the romance and the couple but also family, friends, and other secondary characters as well and this little factor makes the book more relatable and adorable. Also, the thing about the Christina Lauren romance is that they are clean and simple. Of course, there are sex scenes but they never take over the plot making it flow over the pages unnecessarily. They come as a natural progression to romance. So in that way, I feel that Christina Lauren books are clean and uncomplicated.
It had a lot of elements in the book that could have added to emotional complications but the softer way the book dealt with it makes it so easy to read and yet feel its weightage. So for that matter, I would say that The soulmate Equation is a sweet, soft, adorable and uncomplicated romance that could cheer you up after a long day ( I know because it did for me).

That being also my problem that the book was just the usual 😛

In conclusion, if you are looking for a romance read without getting into too many complications, too excessive baggage and EQs, just simple plain romance that can bring a smile to your face, help you feel relaxed, then this book is perfect. A simple soft and adorable romance read. For Christina Lauren fans, this is yet another good addition to your collection. If you are new to the Christina Lauren world, then this here will help you to introduce yourself to their world of romance.
