Our Review of I am Death

This book is back to doing what it does best. Being more vicious and with an explosive plot twist. Wow, I can’t believe I am already at the seventh book. So anyways the book, I am Death, kick starts with yet another series of events that just goes more and more scary, gory and being weirdly enough- pretty exciting and interesting. Anybody who is following the series has to admit that when you approach this book, you can’t expect anything but savagery. It is only the question of how violent can it be to prove a step ahead of the prequels. Know what that means? Prepared to be waking with nightmares.

In the previous book, I had missed Garcia and seems like the Gods had heard me because he is back and BACK FOR GOOD. The fifth book almost had us all at the threshold over the Partnership of Robert and Garcia. Fortunately, the book Gods have shined upon us and the pair is back and the things after a break are all back on track as usual. Which for the book means, Serious violent crimes, a manhunt, and race against time. Well, a perfect Robert Hunter Thriller. The book is pretty violent and after all the detectives of the book belong to the UV unit. The ultra-violent unit ( I KID YOU NOT). The easiest case for them would be a jealous partner killing their spouse. A simple murder.

I had the book in audio format and even though the narration can be a bit on the robotic and technical side, I am enjoying the series. Why else would I go on listening to the series one after another? The nature of the book is violent so obviously, it is not for every taste but if you could stomach the gore, the book is brilliant. The series is brilliant and entertaining. (Yup I do see how weird I sound)

Conclusion

In conclusion, The entire series is not the easiest to read as the pure nature of the books and the crimes in the book can make your stomach churn. But as weird as it sounds, that’s also the charm of the book. The conception and execution of the plots are brilliant and it has an easy flow to the book which makes it enjoyable.
