His & Hers by Alice Feeney

About the Book – His & Hers

There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, His & Hers. Which means someone is always lying.

When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation. Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

His & Hers is a twisty, smart, psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly-drawn narrators that will keep readers guessing until the very end.

“Sometimes we hold on too tight to the wrong people, until it hurts so much we have to let go.”

Our Review of His & Hers

These are two individuals that should never be together but somehow they work magic as a team. What a book! what a plot! His & Hers is a book that at the beginning may not look like much and heading nowhere but let it simmer and you will see the magic unfold.

The book is definitely a slow burn. But once the book reaches its crux then there is no stopping this book. It just takes off at such a speed that you feel like being chased around in a thunderstorm. Initially, I thought that the book may not head somewhere interesting but as I saw the threads coming together, the book just kept getting better and better.

One of the amazing tricks the author played in the book is throwing so many potential suspects at you that it becomes impossible for you to stay put in your own findings. That makes it such an exhilarating read.

Conclusion

This book simply becomes fun and interesting as it progresses. So, in conclusion, I would like to say that give this book time and you will see how the plot will play with your head. The second half of the book is the true star of the book. Stay patient and you will be rewarded. you can thank me once you finish reading the book
