So it’s been a really long time since I read the first book. so naturally, the hiatus did hamper the reading experience but apart from that the second book is totally on a different level. While the first book just lay the plot for you, the second book is taking it to its A-level game. If you are picking up this book then my suggestion is that you better keep your pen and paper ready. There are so many secrets, clues and a whole lot of mind games. you miss one clue and you are just swinging in the thunderstorm.
You can totally see why there is a whole camp of followers for this series. In case, you had thought that the first book didn’t quite match your expectation, pick this book. This book will totally show why this series is going to twist your brains. I love how each chapter comes with a set of clues, a new layer of secrets. The book truly plays on the weird and mysterious family angle in its full glory in the second book.
Conclusion
Fans of the book know why this book is a must-read. If you are not, then the sequel will definitely change your opinion. The only thing I could ever suggest is that be prepared to give your time and space to this book because it’s filled with layers and secrets and you need to really open your eyes and mind to see and feel the brilliance of the twisted webs
