Britney Spears is one pop icon who not only had to grow up under constant scrutiny but also had to bare her despair and struggles in public. Her battle is not unknown to the world and a moving turn of movements when fans all over the world came together to support her in her battle against her own father took everybody by surprise. The trial over her plead to terminate the conservatorship was a public battle and the world not only weighed in but also kept glued to everything that went around it.
So now Britney Spears is all ready to tell all in her memoir which is officially set to release on October 24 this year. The book is titled ” The Woman in Me”.Since there was a lot that went around Britney’s life, it came as no shock when there was an aggressive bid for rights to her memoir. Guardian reports that Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster won the bid with a $15 million deal. It also reports that this figure is only topped by Penguin Random House’s Bid of $65 Mil for Obamas
The memoir is believed to reveal her struggle through her debut years, grabbing the pop world by storm and an era that was defined by her and her music. The book is also said to be a tell-all on her struggle with conservatorship and what went on behind closed doors. This may also include her relationship with her sister Jamie Lynn who according to Britney Spears never came to her support.
