There is good news for “The Bachelor” Fans. A new spin-off is in the works and an official announcement has also been out. Now that the writer’s strike is catching momentum, I guess studios have no other option but to seek help in their reality shows. So here comes another one to mark on your TV calendars. “THE GOLDEN BACHELOR” is focused on an Elderly Bachelor. A quick promo video and posters are already out featuring the new “Elder” bachelor who would be looking for love.
All we need to see is how much of tears, hair pulling and bitch slaps would the show have. Hopefully all in adult and elderly fashion.
We all have been through the dramas that come with the Bachelor territory. We have had girls fighting over a guy and guys fighting over a woman. So now the fight would be between older woman for a “silver Fox” 😛 ( we were dying to use that phrase somewhere) What is interesting would be to see how the older generation takes on this reality series and what dramas we would get to watch. After all the show contestants including THE BACHELOR himself, would be people who have had years of life and experience, maturity and wisdom to go with it. At least we hope so!
The identity of THE BACHELOR for this season is still to be revealed but sources say that the model you see in its promo and posters are the real deal. Well come what may, this would be an interesting take.
