For all those who are juicing up their brain cells with all kinds of weird fantasies, reading that title, let us release you from your misery. Yes, Meghan Fox is revealing secrets and sins of man but as a poem in her new book, Pretty Boys are Poisonous.  The book is a 192-page collection of almost 70 poems by Fox and is being published by the industry giant, Simon & Schuster. The book although, will be releasing on Nov 7, according to Variety magazine, it is already a bestseller with just the pre-order numbers rushing in.

The book is a reflection of her experiences from her personal relationships and her professional interaction with men in Hollywood.

Meghan Fox in a statement regarding her book says that she is burdened by carrying all the sins of man and the book is an attempt to lessen and reveal these secrets and sins.

“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”

The publisher themselves are impressed and are all praise for the book as in their statement they say the book is powerful and has Meghan’s dark humour.

“powerful debut from one of the most well-known women of our time. The book contains over 70 “heartbreaking and dark” poems that showcases her wicked humor. Turn the page, bite the apple, and sink your teeth into the most deliciously compelling and addictive books you’ll read all year,”.

Meghan’s relationships had been high profile and always in the news including her first one with actor Brian Austin Green and her current one with singer Machine Gun Kelly. So the book is a reflection of her experiences from her personal relationships and her professional interaction with men in Hollywood. She had been vocal about the misogyny and sexism she faced in the industry. In fact, Meghan Fox had even given an open statement about the same to Glamour UK magazine.

“I think that I was ahead of the #MeToo movement by almost a decade. I was always speaking out against some of the abusive, misogynistic, patriarchal things that were going on in Hollywood back in 2008 and 2009, way before people were ready to embrace that or tolerate it. And I actually got ridiculed for doing it. I think people just have had time to review that, in retrospect.”

Pretty boys are Poisonous releases on November 7 but looks like it is already a bestseller. So are you excited about Meghan Fox’s book of Poems? Are you planning to place a pre-order or would rather wait to hear the reviews of the book once it is released?
