If there is one Hollywood star who is a class apart and in his own league it’s Keanu Reeves. yes, the John Wick franchise has given him a cult following and a religion for his fans but it’s more of his real-life persona and charm that captivated millions of hearts. But what if we say that along with all the qualities that we already worship him for, Keanu is also a real-life rock star? No! we are not kidding. He has a band and if you have been a music industry expert you might even know them. He is the lead bassist in the group Dogstar and the band is returning with an album after 23 years.
The Dogstar is a trio formed with Reeves, Bret Domrose, the lead vocalist and drummer Rob Mailhouse. The group had last been in action in the mid-90s and early 2000. It was at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in May that the band reunited and announced their new album “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees” which is scheduled for release on October 6th. Meanwhile, the group performed a single from the album “Everything Turns Around,” as part of this announcement. What’s more, is that the band is planning on a 25-day tour in North America and parts of Japan.
Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, will be the band’s third record, following 2000’s Happy Ending and 1996’s Our Little Visionary. “Everything turns around” will be one of the 12 tracks that will be part of their new album. The band has already released the track and a music video to go along with it
