Our Review of The Kind Worth Killing
Warning: Heavy Slow burn ahead 😛 Yes, the book does cook on slow fire but I am not sure whether I did like the dish equivalent to the anticipation and time it took to prepare. Technically the book has got all the right ingredients but I felt something was missing which made it impossible to reach its full potential. The book takes you through a whole lot of twists and turns and unexpected turns of events. It is all good. in fact too good that you start to think that the end game would be epic but somehow everything comes down to it, everything kind of seems ….meh!
Do not take that the book is bad. It is just that I was perhaps expecting something different from the book and what I got was pretty much down the ladder than what I had wanted. The characters are powerful and definitely are the reason why you want to keep on reading. The book just builds on the shoulder of the female lead who is literally taking forward the story with her weird yet interesting persona.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I would say that the book is good and a slow-burn psychological thriller but somehow it isn’t reaching its full bloom and there is definitely a dip in the middle and lots of characters coming and going too. But then this again is a total “Me” thing. So I would say there isn’t harm in trying the book as if for nothing, the female lead would really take your brain for a spin.
