I know we all are bummed that new year came on a Sunday 😛 but here we are in a new year with new hopes and new resolution. Get ready to fill in your reading goals. So we are a kicking off the first day of the year with a small list of the books we are looking forward to read in 2023. These are random picks and not following any order.
Age of Vice by Deepti Kapoor
What intrigued me is the plot. According to Goodreads page is going to be around 500 pages long. A brick at that. No doubt. But if the book is as enticing as the book synopsis then I will gladly take on the big book. So Age of vice is definitely on our list.

After The Lost Apothecary, Sarah penner is back with yet another historical thriller. The book promises to be a crime thriller and with dose of history set in exciting Paris. I had loved the author’s first book and we had even given you the gossip about the book being adapted for screens. Hoping the second book would take on the success of the first book.

We seem to be picking a pattern 😛 our next pick is too a thriller by none other than Roshani Chokshi, author of the The Gilded wolves series.This is author’s first adult book filled with enchantments and Mexican Gothic

One of our favourites from 2022 was Within these wicked walls. Now the author is back with a second book, Wildblood. Filled with exciting elements, the book sounds a good fantastical read with thrills, twists and historical doses.

Set in the backdrop of Vietnam, She is a haunting, is a horror fiction starring a haunted house. Goodreads Page claims that the book is perfect for the fans of Mexican Gothic. So we can’t wait to find out how much will its scare us
