The Witch Trials of JK Rowling! Nope! it is not JK Rowling’s new novel. It is a podcast by the author which has got its attention because of some explosive revelations by the author. Any author today steps into the world of writing hoping that they could be the next J K Rowling but the mother of the Harry Potter saga’s own life wasn’t less dramatic.
In the podcast, she revealed that she was in an abusive relationship so bad, that she was scared that her then-husband, Jorge Arantes would burn the unpublished manuscripts to prevent her from leaving. She also said that she would sneak out her manuscripts in batches to get them photocopied so that her then-husband wouldn’t catch on.
On the other hand, Jorge Arantes claims that he has helped Rowling write and shape the world-famous Harry Potter saga. Rowling was eventually able to escape the marriage and then found love in her second husband, Dr Neil Murray.
All of these were shared by the author of the podcast which is hosted by Megan Phelps-Roper.
