As per Entertainment weekly, the final casting call is out for the Percy Jackson TV series which is set to premiere on Disney Plus Soon. In an official announcement twitter post, the team shared the casting call of Zeus which would be taken on by Lance Reddick, Poseidon’s role would be taken on by Toby Stephens. The role of Percy Jackson which as previously mentioned would be done by Walker Scobell. This did disappoint a lot of fans who thought it would be done by Logan Lerman as in movies but as Lerman himself said that he is probably upscaled from that age group to reprise that role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Riordian himself couldn’t be more happy about the casting as he feels that both Reddick and Stephens had that aura and voice quality to taken on the Godly roles
So are you excited for the series? but unfortunately you will have to wait longer as the series is slated for 2024 premiere.
