About the Book- Chasing Hope by Yuktha Asrani

First Up News’s primetime golden boy, Ethan Jacob, is known for his impeccable work ethic – except when it comes to the headstrong, infuriating rookie reporter, Hope Pereira. Ethan’s life is thrown into a tailspin as he is compelled to chase her around town while she weaves her way in and out of trouble. Hiding a dangerous secret, Ethan fights their forbidden attraction, up until the point where she becomes his only salvation.

No matter what Hope does, however noble her intent, she can never do anything right in the eyes of her egocentric boss. Furious at her attraction to him, Hope refuses to fall prey to Ethan’s lethal charm. Despite the odds, she joins forces with the vigilante Masked Man, and their nightly rendezvous spin out of control while together they hunt down the chilling truth of a high-profile case.

It’s only a matter of time before secrets of the past come to light and Hope is suddenly afraid of falling for the one person she truly hates.

Our Review of Chasing Hope by Yuktha Asrani

I think out of all the books I have read from the author, this has to top them all. I love this book for all the reasons I loved ” Handcuffed to Love” by her. Come to this book and it has a gorgeous romance track and a charming vigilante. So what not to like plus it just adds that extra sugar to an already sweet and savoury dish.

So chasing Hope has these two central characters that keep the plot and humour aspect intact and make them such an interesting couple. The best part of the book for me was the parallel events that changes the whole game towards the climax. The climax and the sense of thrill and the way these events move forward along with keeping the romance spark alive make this book come alive.

The book is engaging and grabs you with an alluring development of events that keeps the book alleviated and hooking. The ease of language and the natural course of the storyline makes it easier to dive in and enjoy. pssst!! I do smell a chance of a subplot in form of our Male Central character’s best friend and his romantic life as I did see a peek in the book, leading me to suspect that something is cooking there… well we will wait and see 😛

Conclusion

I believe this is the fourth book from the author that I have read and loved and I am sure would be one among many to come. Chasing Hope is fun, engaging, and hooking. The book is enticing with its engaging and adrenaline-filled plot developments and charming romance at the centre of it all.
