The answer to why one should go for this book is simply because of the core plot. While first book introduced you to a spectacular new character and world, the second book completely show an advanced phase of these characters. The second books goes into much more advanced plot angles and the characters have also developed drastically. In some ways it is exciting to see but on the other hand also leaves you baffled as to how quickly these character, especially the central character has grown up. Nothing is as you have expected or learned from the first book.

The plot keeps thickening and embarking on plains that you least expect and keeping it steady and exhilarating

The language and the narration technique is amazing as well. Above all its the characters and their behaviours that will pull you to the book. It is exciting, thrilling, indulging and confusing too but in general, the book is good

Conclusion

Of course you have to read the first book to reap the benefit of this book, but even so you will see how different the sequel has emerged from its predecessor but in overall the series is worth all the effort and quite amazing to follow
