Reading Time: 2 minutes

Why do you pick a Rick Riordian book? Simple. The humour. Oh yes and to learn about greek gods too. Admit it. The guy just tickles your laughter bone like crazy. The series itself is amazing and a good way for you to get accustomed to all the greek gods and the lores attached with them. Mixed with the author’s humour the book is a crazy riot

The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan- Official Synopsis

How do you punish an immortal? By making him human. After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disoriented, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus’s favor. But Apollo has many enemies—gods, monsters, and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go… an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.

The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan- RWAT Take

Well The book definitely has a cameo appearance by the famous Percy Jackson who by this time is very popular from all the books and movies. So yes Percy jackson does makes and appearance and also some of the characters from the previous books as well.

Just like all other books, the author focus on one greek god and in a very amusing tale, manages us to sail through interesting fun facts about the gods. You need to look under all that humour and sarcasm to see the real gems. But to be honest the book would have been absolutely plain and boring hadn’t it been for Rick and his humour. It is amazing and i feel that after a long day when you sit to read this book, you cant help but laugh out loud and simply relax

Conclusion

You will learn a lot about apollo and will do so laughing hard and getting completely entertained. Rick knows his Gods and explains it pretty amusingly and which makes him simply the best
