The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue -BookThe Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue Official Synopsis

Henry “Monty” Montague was born and bred to be a gentleman, but he was never one to be tamed. The finest boarding schools in England and the constant disapproval of his father haven’t been able to curb any of his roguish passions—not for gambling halls, late nights spent with a bottle of spirits, or waking up in the arms of women or men.

But as Monty embarks on his Grand Tour of Europe, his quest for a life filled with pleasure and vice is in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family’s estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.

Still it isn’t in Monty’s nature to give up. Even with his younger sister, Felicity, in tow, he vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. But when one of Monty’s reckless decisions turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt that spans across Europe, it calls into question everything he knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores.

The book takes a bit time to come to its full form and once it does, it undoubtedly gives you an adventure ride. Thankfully the Central character, Henry “Monty” Montague is so colourful that he keeps the book alive even when nothing specific is happening with the story. He is definitely a charming and worthy company keeping it light and fun even in between turmoils

If you are somewhat getting a negative impression about the book, then let me assure you that it is not a bad book at all. Infact the book is quite different and the experience of the journey would leave you asking for more. As i said , the only trouble i had the book was trying to place the purpose but once i progressed i could see where it was headed and it was absolutely worth the wait.

You would fall for the character of Monty as the author has definitely put her whole heart and soul into creating this character and the result is just brilliant. This book is definitely an adventure trip and the views and places enroute are what makes this book a worthy read.
