I really had a lot of trouble with the first book but still went  on to love it and craving for the second book. Luckily second book had made it easier for me to like it and didn’t wait to test my patience like its prequel.

The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin- RWAT Take

The first book nearly had made me overlook it with the kind of running around it did. The book just kept circling around and around till more than half of the book got over and then eventually opening up itself to reveal the actual story. Come to second book and i feel it opens better, jumps to the plot without much foreplays but at the same time appears to be different from the original book

The second book in spite of being way lot more interesting and exhilarating than the first book, can also seem to be quite sidetracked or different from the first one. But ironically that only adds to the allure of it. The plot and the whole scenario and feel of the second book is quite different and it embarks on a completely different aspect and journey and that for me made it amazing and worth sticking with the series.

The second book definitely takes a sharp turn from where the first book ends and in a way i say it perhaps did it for the best because now the series has gone on to become more interesting and exciting.
