Book Review: Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay

A retelling of the classic beauty and the beast tale, although nothing like the original classic. But i guess that is the point of these retellings, to be not like the original. The book takes a while to settle down and you need to wait till then to ease yourself to the story. In a way i would still say that the plots lay unhinged and raw at certain areas

Book Review: All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood

This is the most creepiest and uncomfortable book that i have ever read in my life. Well of course i have read stories that have been uncomfortable and harsh but then those don’t make you rub yourself with fire because somewhere beneath you see a good spark in all those creepy or hard hitting plot. Book Review: Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff (The Nevernight Chronicle #2)

An extraordinary heroine makes this book absolutely worth reading. The language and narration technique is a bit different and definitely requires a bit of effort to get used to. Once in, then you are for a treat. Although the footnotes can be a bit sneaky devil, distracting you from the main book.
