Book Review: Allegiant by Veronica Roth (Divergent #3)

Reading Time: 3 minutes

I dont think any author would have been so bold and gutzy to attempt such an ending to her most cherished and popular series. For this alone i would absolutely give the author a standing ovation because that was simply brave of her to write such an ending

Allegiant by Veronica Roth- RWAT TAKE

After Hunger games, its divergent series that defines a true Dystopian novel for me. The series was everything that you would want from a good book. Good, creative and a challenging plot mixed with an array of strong and vibrant characters. A cute yet very interesting romance angle. To top it all you have a kickass heroine. Brave yet vulnerable. Strong yet emotional. In short a very complex yet addictive series.

For a long time, i was under the impression that Allegiant was just revisiting the entire first two books through the eyes of four, the male character and i was not absolutely interested in reading that. It wasnt until i was allegiant movie trailer that i realised that the book is the continuation of the series and all about the life after they escape the faction system.

The book completely rides on everything that was offered by the first two books. Which means its is perfect and has got a great plot development, narration technique and entertainment factor. The book simply takes forward the series beautifully.

Conclusion

Everything about the book is perfect and if you have loved the series, you will love the finale book too. Perhaps you may not like the exact finale moment of the book but still i would say this was a killer end to a beautiful series.
