TV Review : A Korean Odyssey

I had finished binge watching this drama around a week ago and I m still finding it difficult to come out of its hangover. The case is so worst that everyday I am hunting for snippets of this drama on YouTube and listening to the entire soundtrack like a mad woman . Funny thing is that it’s just not me but seems like whoever has gone on to watch this drama has found it difficult to overcome the hangover. So much that I found that there are numerous petitions circulating for another season of this drama. How much the petition  would actually be able to revive the drama is yet to watch.

A Korean Odyssey RWAT Take

Korean odyssey is basically a fantasy and romance drama filled with humour, heart touching and fantasy elements making it a perfect entertainer. The series has got something for everyone. Of course being a Korean drama, the romance angle is what plays the best in the drama. It’s absolutely adorable and charming but not without getting much in your nerves and that to me is the best part.

The drama keeps you laughing even in the most serious turns and when things get serious it also makes you shed tears like a river. I think the show stealer of the drama is Lee Seung-gi who plays the character of Son Oh Gong. He is adorable and will steal your heart but if I have to vote then I would say the best character and one that adds all the spice to the series is Cha Seung-won who plays the role of the Devil king. If there is any scene where you are laughing your guts out then it would be because he is at his best in the scene

The series is a perfect binge watch material and if you want a Korean drama that is funny cute then I can definitely recommend this for sure . The only thing is that it leaves a heavy hangover. The way the series ends actually leaves scope of a return maybe that’s the reason why people all over the world are asking for it’s return.
